Description

This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver dish/basket measuring 8 3/4" (22.5 cms) across x 2 3/4" (7 cms) high to the rim and 7 1/2" (19 cms) high to the top of the handle when it's up.

It weighs 635.2 grams and is hallmarked for Sheffield 1856 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Wilkinson & Co.

It has beautiful pierced decoration around the rim with lovely engraved decoration in the base and there are no monograms or inscriptions.

It's in excellent condition with no damage (any marks you can see in the photos are just reflections) and would look fabulous on your Christmas table !!
