Description

A delightful example of a silver bladed butter knife from the early Victorian era. This lovely example has an engraved cutlass shaped silver blade and a superbly carved mother-of-pearl handle, with the traces of a monogram. A lovely gift idea, both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or cracks to the handle and no dents or splits to the silver.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Date :- Sheffield 1853.

Maker :- Martin, Hall & Co..
