There is no monogram but there is a crest of ‘Dog’, I think; which is included in a photograph.

It is in excellent condition for 196 years old, with no dents, damage or repairs that I can see.
It measures approximately: 17.1 cm long, with the bowl 6 cm x 4.9 cm (across the widest points) and weighs 60.8 grams / 1.95 troy oz.

The assay office is Edinburgh, with the head of George III as duty stamp, the date letter ‘o’ for 1820 and the maker’s mark for John & William Howden; there is also another maker’s mark, stamped ‘WH’ in script, I wondered if this may be for William Howden, the son.
A superb, true antique ladle to own and use!
