A Magnificent Victorian Silver Plated Claret Jug.

A gorgeous Victorian claret jug with a silver plated mount. The straight sided glass body is beautifully cut and has a star base. The mount is silver plated and has a hinged lid, decorated with fruit, flowers, leaves and has a seated lion finial.There are masks, fruit and flowers on the collar and handle and there is a monogram to one cartouche and one vacant. A most attractive and practical example.
