An Extremely Rare Pair of Hallmarked Silver Knitting Needle Guards.

A wonderful collector's item, a pair of novelty silver knitting needle guards. These scarce items are rarely English, usually Dutch silver and almost never hallmarked. This particular pair are in the form of boots and are fully hallmarked English silver, dating from the First World War. A superb and rare find, both practical and collectable.

Condition :- Very good with no splits or holes. One boot has a small dent to the side, shown in photograph and commensurate with age and use.
