A Gorgeous Silver & Guilloche Enamel Hand Mirror.

A truly wonderful silver hand mirror of beautiful form in the Art Deco taste. The reverse is azure blue guilloche enamel. The circular mirror is bevelled and this superb example is both stylish and elegant.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. There are a couple of very small ripples to the handle and the enamel is in superb condition. There is evidence of some gilding to the silver, which is mostly missing now and commensurate with age and use (photo 3). The mirror is undamaged with no foxing.

Maker :- Albert Carter.

Hallmarks :- Readable, but with softening to the Maker's mark.
