Accompanied by a report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire has had no heat treatment, and if of Sri Lankan origin.
Cut - Old single cut diamonds and an oval sapphire.
Colour - The diamonds are G.
Clarity - The diamonds are VS. This is remarkably clean and clear for a sapphire of these dimensions. Totally eye clean.
Carat - The sapphire is 8.80 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.56 carat.
Circa - 1920.
Condition - Excellent.
Size - Currently O (UK) or 7 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements - The sapphire, including the bezel around it, is 14.5mm by 10.9. The whole head of the ring is 18.8mm by 15.7 and sits 7.6mm from the finger.
Metal - 18k yellow gold. Stamped. The diamonds are set in platinum. Tested.
