Description

A fantastically eccentric brooch. Don't let the playfulness of the design detract from the high levels of craftsmanship. The fine enamel work makes this fella seem almost alive. The attention to detail is quite exquisite, especially the diamond set eyebrows, nostrils and tail. It's worth noting that the giraffe can stand unaided, which just goes to show how well made and well balanced it is.

Diamonds - Singles cuts, G colour, VS clarity. Approximately 0.15 carat total.

Circa - 1950.

Condition - Excellent.

Measurements - Top to bottom (or hoof to horn if you prefer) is 6.7 centimeters.

Weight - 17.2 grams.

Metal - 14k gold. Tested.
