Description

A superb Wedding present idea, being both practical for the big day and something special to keep and use again.

A splendid Victorian silver bladed Wedding Cake knife, with a carved mother-of-pearl handle. Unusually, the blade has detailed engraving on both sides, with intricate foliar details. The top of the blade is serrated.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver and no chips to the handle.

Maker :- Hilliard & Thomason.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Length :- 26.5 cms.

Date of Manufacture

Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
