It was listed by Jeff Sims Antiques. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
The cheroot holder is telescopic and folds down to fit inside the vesta.

The hallmarks are same date and maker, but the vesta was assayed in Birmingham and the cheroot holder in Chester. This was not unusual practice for these assay offices, as Chester silver was often sent to Birmingham during busy times. Rare and interesting to find still complete.

Hallmarks :- Clear, readable and corresponding.
Maker :- Henry Williamson.
