A fine Edwardian mahogany cylinder desk in excellent antique condition. The tambour front is beautifully inlaid with satinwood and marquetry, opening to reveal a fitted interior with small drawers, pigeonholes and a central drawer. The pull-out writing surface retains its original leather, attractively worn with age and use. Raised on tapering legs with brass caps and castors, and surmounted by a pierced brass gallery, this elegant desk combines practicality, craftsmanship and timeless Edwardian charm.
