Antique Victorian Style Brass Oil Lamp | Duplex Burner

Antique brass oil lamp in the late Victorian manner, an elegant and well-proportioned table lamp of good quality, with a tall slender form that makes a real statement.

It is fitted with a twin-wick duplex burner with two brass winders, a pierced gallery and an extinguisher lever, and comes complete with a clear glass chimney.

The brass font sits on a finely reeded column rising from a stepped, circular domed base, and the lamp is crowned by a frosted amber glass tulip shade moulded with flowers and acanthus leaves.

The brass has a warm, mellow tone with a gentle patina, and the moulded shade glows softly when lit.

A lovely decorative piece for a side table, sideboard or mantelpiece, whether used as a working lamp or simply for display.

Presented in good condition, it is a very desirable piece and the perfect addition to any traditional or period interior.
