Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric symmetry, clean lines, stylised motifs, and a strong architectural influence.

Craftsmen of this period frequently utilised platinum for its strength in holding intricate settings, often paired with yellow or white gold, alongside brilliant and old-cut diamonds.

Authentic pieces often feature period-specific hallmarks, hand-cut stones such as old European or transitional cuts, and characteristic manufacturing techniques like millegrain detailing and openwork platinum galleries.

Vintage pieces can be worn as standalone statement items or paired with contemporary minimalist bands to create a balanced, layered aesthetic that highlights historical craftsmanship.

Regular professional inspections ensure that settings and millegrain edges remain secure, while gentle cleaning with warm soapy water and a soft brush maintains the brilliance of the stones.
