Description

A charming vintage diamond engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre does have some visible inclusions - but retained plenty of fire and sparkle. The stone is secured in a square, platinum collet and sit between step-down shoulders set with six (three each side) round brilliant cut diamonds, leading to a slim, D-shaped 18k white gold shank.

Cut: Old European cut in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are round brilliants.

Colour: The centre is H. The diamonds in the shoulders are H to I.

Clarity: The centre I2. The diamond in the shoulders are VS2 to SI2.

Carat: The centre is 1.15 carat, with a further approximate 0.12 carat in the shoulders.

Circa: 1955.

Size: O (UK) or 7 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The diamond is 6.4 x 6.3mm and sits 6.2mm from the finger.

Weight: 2.52 grams.

Metal: Stamped 18CT& PLAT inside the band, indicating 18k white gold and platinum, and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
