Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric lines, stylised motifs, symmetrical patterns, and a modernist rejection of traditional Victorian curves.

Art Deco rings frequently utilised yellow gold, platinum, and white gold, often set with diamonds, sapphires, rubies, and emeralds, alongside geometric cuts such as baguette and emerald cuts.

Authentic pieces typically feature period-specific gemstone cuts, hand-crafted metalwork, maker marks, and signs of genuine age-related wear, distinguishing them from modern reproductions.

An antique ring can be worn as a standalone statement piece to add historical contrast to modern minimalist attire or stacked thoughtfully with contemporary bands.

Antique jewellery should be stored individually in soft pouches, kept away from harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, and inspected periodically by a professional jeweller for setting integrity.
