Description

Pretty Art Deco 18ct Gold Platinum Diamond three stone Ring 0.40ct total. This superb quality ring has a very bright old cut diamond of 3.8mm x 3.8mm diamond of 0.20ct to the centre, either side of which are two further bright old cut diamonds of 0.10ct each. Total diamond weight is 0.40ct and diamonds set in a very pretty and protective collette setting. Really pretty and classical three stone ring in a lovely setting, diamonds have a really bright sparkle and are excellent quality. There are no hallmarks on the shank but almost certainly dates to the early 20th century. This ring would make a wonderful engagement ring with plenty of wow factor and a timeless feel of antique cuts. The stones are all set in a strong and protective platinum setting. The ring is in excellent condition for its age, the shank is in strong and in very good condition, there are no chips, nibbles or cracks to the stone. Size UK N and U.S Size 6 3/4 the total weight is 2.2g.

Please Check Sizes And Weights As JEWELLERY IMAGES ARE ENLARGED. Dark areas are reflections on the gold.

All items are checked by a professional Jeweller for authenticity; however no certificates are provided. If for any reason the item is found not to be genuine or as described a full refund will be given. So please buy with confidence.

Your jewellery will come in a modern gift box and not necessarily the one in the photograph.

Please also note that Antique and Vintage items will show some signs of wear commensurate with age.

Returns are accepted however buyer must pay return postage.

Finally - by purchasing a Used /Vintage/ Antique ring you are recycling a beautiful piece of jewellery and gemstone. In buying a ring which has been in circulation for this long is the most environmentally ethical way to purchase jewellery. Purchasing antique jewellery allows you to both support smaller local businesses and but encouraging the reuse of the vast amount of timeless jewels that are already in circulation and reduces the demand for further stripping of our planets resources.

In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

The Art Deco period, spanning from the 1920s to the 1930s, marked a shift away from traditional floral motifs towards geometric precision, symmetry, and the influence of machine-age design.

These pieces frequently utilised 18-carat yellow or white gold, platinum for secure settings, and hand-cut diamonds such as old European or single cuts.

Authenticity is typically determined by examining hallmarks, bezel or milgrain setting techniques, and the presence of hand-cut diamonds featuring characteristic larger facets and open culets.

An antique ring can be paired with contemporary minimalist bands to create a balanced mixed-metal stack, allowing the historical piece to remain a focal point.

Vintage pieces should be cleaned gently using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft brush, avoiding harsh chemical ultrasonic cleaners which can damage delicate milgrain work.
