Description

These Victorian solid silver grape scissors are very elegant and come in a presentation leather case. Of traditional form, with feather edging and scrolling patterns surrounding vacant reserves. They have a very good silver gauge and feel satisfyingly heavy.

Hallmarks:

GJ over DF for Josiah Williams & Co

(George Maudsley Jackson & David Landsborough Fullerton)

London Assay Mark.

Date letter "d" for 1899.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions:

Length: 15.5cm / 6 inches.

Condition:

They are in excellent condition and working order.

Maker's marks partially erased but identifiable.
