An Unusual Victorian Silver Mounted Glue Pot

An unusual silver mounted glue pot dating from the end of the Victorian era. This delightful example has a silver lid, with wrythen decoration supporting the shank and bristle. The glass body is hobnail cut and barrel shaped. These unusual pieces are rather scarce and are very collectable. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass. There are some pinprick dimples to the handle, commensurate with age and use. The bristle is in excellent condition.
