A pendant is an ornament made to hang from a chain or cord, and on Sellingantiques that means gem-set gold drops, lockets, crosses, charms, fob seals and enamelled silver, made from the early 19th century onward.
The oldest pendants on Sellingantiques are labelled Before 1700: a Roman gold-and-garnet semicircle and a Western Asiatic gold bell.
