Vintage Sri Lankan Tutti Frutti Gemstones Gold Brooch

BROOCH ONLY+++ These stunning gold earrings and brooch from Sri Lanka showcase a joyous array of excellent multicoloured gemstones including pink sapphire, blue sapphire, topaz, tourmalines and garnets.

The earrings come in their natty original silk-lined Hemachandra Bros case.

• Condition: All pieces are in excellent vintage condition with fully working screws and clasp.

• Fixing: The earrings have threaded posts with secure screw-on backs for pierced ears. The brooch fixes with a locking rollover clasp.

• Era: c.1960s.

• Hallmarks/stamps: None, which is not unusual as they were not required in Sri Lanka at the time the jewellery was made. The pieces have been professionally tested as 12-carat gold, gilded with a higher carat for extra-rich colour.

• Size: The earrings measure approx 2.3 x 1.7cm. The brooch is 6 x 3cm.

• Weight: The earrings weigh 6.8g, the brooch 9.6g.
