Fine Pair Of Heavy Silver William IV Ladels, London 1835

A first rate pair of splendid William IV fiddle pattern silver ladles.  The ladles are a lovely plain polished silver and a good heavy gauge, which feel lovely to hold in the hand.  The back of each terminal bear the very clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1835, Lion Passant, indicating the finest sterling silver, with silver maker''s mark for Joseph & Albert Savory.  Each have the initial ''S'' engraved on the front.
 
 
 
 A lovely pair of ladles in superb antique collector''s condition. No marks or dents to the silver. 
 
 
 
Hallmarks:  London 1835 by Joseph & Albert Savory. (The maker''s mark''s are rubbed, however, still legible on one of the ladles.)
 
 
 
Measurements: Length of each Ladle:  18.5 cm  Width across Ladle Bowl:  6 cm
 
 
 
Total weight of both ladles: 155 grams
