Quality Victorian Antique Glazed Oak Bookcase On Cupboard
This Quality late 19th century Victorian Antique Glazed Oak Bookcase On Cupboard circa, 1850 is of nice slim proportions. It has a moulded cornice with decorative Grecian edge above two glazed doors with moulded glazing bars and key with working lock. The interior comprises of three adjustable shelves. The lower section is low wasted and has a moulded top above two cupboard doors with key and this splendid Victorian bookcase stands on shaped bracket feet. It splits into two sections for easy removal. The Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Furniture wax finishing.
