Fine Victorian Silver Goblet London 1870 By Robert Harper

An very fine solid silver antique goblet.  This impressive piece comes in bell shaped form, decorated with quatrefoil floral design to the cup with a vacant diamond shaped empty cartouche in the centre.  The stem is knobbed in the centre with a circular splayed foot, also decorated with quatrefoil design.  Clear hallmarks are visible just below the top rim for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1870, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker''s mark for the silver-maker:  Robert Harper.
 
 
 
A lovely goblet, suitable as a gift, or would make a super presentation trophy.  Also great for a new baby / Christening. 
 
 
 
Condition:  In lovely condition.  There is a very light indentation around the base rim, which we mention for complete accuracy. Engraving has been removed from the cartouche.
