A delightful, Norwegian, vintage silver gilt and enamel butterfly brooch. The detail on the brooch is superb. The wings are beautiful, guilloche enamelled in turquoise blue with yellow and black enamel body, curved slightly so they reflect the light and highlight the detail. The back of the brooch is marked ''Sterling 925 S along
with the mark for the well known designer Kristian Hestenes: ''Hestenes Norway''. There is a good fastening clasp at the back which works well.
A perfect gift, made by a collectable designer and in fabulous condition.
