We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A silver presentation cup is a decorative vessel awarded as a prize or presented as a commemorative gift to mark an achievement, sporting victory, or retirement.

Most vintage presentation cups are crafted from sterling silver or silver plate, often featuring hallmarks stamped on the body indicating the assay office, metal purity, and date letter.

Authentic pieces display official hallmarks, which typically include a makers mark, a standard mark for silver purity such as a lion passant, an assay office mark, and a date letter corresponding to the year of manufacture.

A vintage silver trophy can be displayed on a mantelpiece, sideboard, or open bookshelf as a metallic focal point, contrasting against natural wood or matte painted surfaces.

Antique silver should be cleaned sparingly using a non-abrasive silver polish and a soft cloth to maintain its patina, avoiding harsh dips that can strip the original finish.
