An unusual silver bladed Letter Opener. The style is utterly distinctive Art Nouveau, including the decoration and the shape. The blade is fully hallmarked for London 1904, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The mark for the silvermaker is also very clear: William Hutton & Sons Ltd. The handle is copper backed and the front bears a stylish pattern.
