Stunning Victorian Silver Bottle Stopper London 1845 Joseph Angell

A very stunning, early Victorian silver bottle stopper. Beautifully ornate the stopper is adorned with grapes and vine decoration.  On one side of the stopper are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1845, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the the maker''s mark for the silversmith:  Joseph Angell1 & Joseph Angell II.
 
 
 
A splendid rare bottle top, great for a collector!
 
 
 
Condition:  The silver is in super condition.  There is some wear to the interior original cork (see images) commensurate with age and use.
 
 
 
Measurements:  Height:  5.2 cm    Diameter width:  4.7 cm   Weight:  83.9 grams (a good heavy weight).
