A fine-looking mahogany glass fronted bookcase with two shelves, one adjustable, and door brasswork with Thomas Horne Patent hinges above a chest of graduating oak lined drawers on a plinth base. This piece is full of charm and character with a wonderful patina. Dating from circa 1830 this bookcase is in very good original condition with desirable dimensions, only 172cm high. The back is also wonderfully panelled.
Condition: there are historical marks and some age-related wear to this piece. Some of the drawers have lost some beading in places over the years but this certainly does not detract from its beauty. Please enquire for further information.
Dimensions indicated are max overall sizes taken at the top of the cornice, please enquire for precise dimensions of the individual parts of the bookcase.
Unless individually specified, prices do not include delivery costs.
