1900 and are made from Walnut. Each antique bookcase has a rectangular top with gadrooned carved moulded top above a reeded frieeze and two astragal glazed doors with key and working locks. Each interior has three adjustable shelves and they stand on a moulded plinth. The Walnut has aged to a warm shade with wonderful charm, character, a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
