Description

A beautiful French 950 (higher grade than sterling) solid silver gilt table trinket box. It is hallmarked with the French export mark and the makers mark of Schweitzer and Fort who operated in Paris from 1904 until 1910. It has been beautifully made being decorated with engine turning and gilded both inside and out. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.3cm) across by 1 inch (2.7cm) tall and weighs 96 grams. A beautiful impressive piece.
