Beautiful 1841 English Solid Silver Card Case Antique 60g Victorian

Description

A beautiful early Victorian English antique solid silver business or visiting card case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1841 with the makers marks being that of Francis Clark. It has been superbly made being engraved with scrolls and the cartouche engraved with initials. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8cm) wide by 2 inches (5.2cm) wide and weighs 60 grams - you may need to get cards specifically made to fit if you plan to use it, many companies offer this service. A superbly designed piece.
