French Solid Sterling Silver Table Trinket Box C1890 Antique 44g

Description

A beautiful French solid sterling silver desk or dressing table box. It is hallmarked with the French 950 standard Minerva head mark and the makers mark of Louis Coignet who operated in Paris from 1889 to 1893. It has been superbly designed being of circular form. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. The inside is perfectly clean and gilded with the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.6cm) across by 1.25 inches (3cm) tall and weighs 44 grams. A very high quality piece.
