Rare American Sterling Silver Tea Infuser Strainer & Drip Stand C1920

Description

A rare antique American solid sterling silver tea strainer infuser. It has been marked STERLING along with a makers mark, I would date it c1920s. It has been superbly designed with the infuser being in the form of a tea pot which sits on a circular drip stand. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs and works well. The infuser measures 2.75 inches (7cm) tall to the top of the handle by 1.5 inches (4cm) wide excluding the spout and the stand 3 inches (8cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and has a combined weight of 74 grams. A very well made rare piece.
