Unusual stacking office bookcase c.1920. Comprising five sections, which can be configured as preferred. Two bookcases with the the glazed lift and slide doors typical of the form. Plus a fall front bureau with a fitted interior of small stationery drawers and pigeon holes. Also two sections each featuring four drawers (big enough for A4 paper). The cornice form a flat shelf with raised sides and crisply carved gallery at the rear. In pale oak with simple moulded detail and the original brass handles and fittings. Raised on a separate moulded plinth. Excellent colour and condition, key supplied for the bureau.
