Description

An antique George V sterling silver and tortoiseshell trinket box which is rectangular in shape with tortoiseshell panels to the sides of the box, plain silver mounts around the body and resting on four decorative legs. The hinged tortoiseshell lid is enhanced by the pretty pique work design in the centre depicting garlands and bows and the interior of the box has been nicely re-lined to make it look more presentable. This silver and tortoiseshell box would make a desirable addition to a collection and an ideal gift.

It was hallmarked in London for 1918 by Corke & Apthorp and still remains in excellent condition.
