Rare Solid Silver Stamp Case Birmingham 1912

An very pretty solid silver stamp case, unusual design to the top, which is also charmingly ornate.   The case is hinged at the bottom & the front opens and closes with a nice click.    The case is beautifully decorated with floral engraving and has a vacant cartouche to the front in a shield shape. When the case is opened clear hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1912 and maker''s marks for Albert Ernest Jenkins.

The quality of the craftmanship is evident. A collector''s stamp case!
