Rare Solid Sterling Silver Fox Hunting Horn Cigar Table Lighter 1902 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful top quality rare English solid sterling silver table cigar lighter. It is hallmarked for London 1902 with the makers mark being rubbed. It has been superbly designed in the form of a hunting horn. It would have sat on the table of a lodge for gents to light their cigars as they wished. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, very tiny knock see final photo. It of course needs a cord wick and a liquid combustible but these can be bought online. It measures approx. 6 inches (15cms) tall by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) wide at the base and weighs 130 grams. A beautifully made rare piece.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
