A very elegant and exceedingly attractive, solid silver tea caddy. Splendidly designed, the fluted oval body is decorated with an embossed floral design blank cartouche to the back and front. The hinged lid has a domed plain polished silver finish. Hallmarks are visible on the base of the caddy with partial marks on the underside of the lid, for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1900, Lion Passant and maker''s mark for Samuel Walton Smith.
A superior tea caddy, lovely proportions and in super condition. Both useful for purpose and also extremely attractive for displaying.
