This is an absolutely fantastic early 19thC Elm Milking stool. One for the true collector. It has wonderful patination, it is extremely rare in that the wavy used seat is saddle shaped, showing signes of extensive use over it’s lifetime. It has a deep rich honey colour, there is historic worm which has been treated but has long gone. Standing on three chamfered legs. Please read dimensions carefully as it is a good size. It was originally part of an important collection of naive country furniture. In very good condition. A must for the collector or an impressive country or decorative piece.
