Brass Mounted Mahogany Bookcase C.1900

Description

Very smart French brass mounted mahogany bookcase c.1900. Two long glazed doors with blind panels in the base, fitted inside with five adjustable shelves (internal depth 12"). Particularly well figured mahogany veneers across the piece with extensive brass mouldings to the cornice, doors, sides and plinth. Long inlaid brass flutes to the uprights either side of the doors, note also the brass roundels at the corners of the glazing and the moulding on the shelf fronts. Oak lined interior and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
