Description

A particularly stunning example of a Victorian garnet cluster brooch - set with dozens of hand-faceted rose-cut garnets of a delicious deep wine red colour.

The garnets are mounted into "garnet gold" - a description used to describe a very low carat gold typically used in Victorian garnet jewellery.

The brooch is in excellent antique condition.

Size: Approx 3.5cm diameter.

Weight: 10.7g.
