An exceptionally lovely silver handled magnifying glass. The lens is clear and has a good magnification. It is framed with a plain polished silver border. The engraving to the handle has an art deco appearance. Hallmarks are visible around the handle collar for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1934, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker''s mark for the silvermaker: CD.
Superb gift for someone looking for a magnifying glass, both attractive and practical.
