Good Antique Silk Turkish Carpet / Rug

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a good quality handwoven Anatolian silk carpet with a tasteful colour palette which dates from the early 20th century. The silk carpet is woven on cotton and a wheat coloured lozenge field around a rich terracotta stellar medallion framed by deep indigo spandrels and narrow floral borders. The silk carpet is a good size measuring 185 cms by 122 cms and is in excellent condition throughout. It is cleaned and ready to use.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
