Description

A stunning large English solid sterling silver and enamel topped cut glass dressing table bowl or box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1948 with the makers marks being WGSLtd. It has been beautifully made having a silver lid enamelled and hand painted with Fuchsia flowers. It is in outstanding condition. The silver is free from splits repairs and dings, initials to the lid. The glass and enamel is free from cracks chips and repairs. The lids fits well one way but rides up a little if turned. It is a good usable size measuring over 4.5 inches (12cms) wide by 2.5 inches tall and weighs 466 grams. A beautifully made piece.
