A stunning German antique solid silver snuff or trinket box. It is marked with German crescent moon and crown mark and the 800 standard mark, I would date it to c1900s. It has been beautifully made and is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid closes securely. The enamel is great with just the odd tiny nibble. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (4.2cms) across by 0.75 inch (2.7cms) tall and weighs 24 grams. A rare well made piece.
