A very attractive and beautifully crafted silver handled Edwardian, Wedding Cake Knife. The Knife has a glorious silver handle decorated with lovely rose detail, with clear, crisp hallmarks for the Sheffield Assay office and a date mark for 1907, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and silver maker''s mark for the silversmith: Isaac Ellis & Sons. The blade is silver plated.
The knife comes in the attractive original purple velvet lined presentation case.
A lovely cake knife and would be wonderful as a wedding gift, for use at a wedding or for any celebration cake. It is in super condition. Also a very practical item!
