A lovely solid silver Victorian Christening Set, comprising fork and spoon all in the handsome original leatherette case with a gorgeous purple velvet and cerise satin interior. Each piece is exceptionally attractive with lovely floral embossed decoration to both the front and back of each both. Each bear hallmarks for London 1899, with the maker''s mark for Josiah Williams & Co and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The set is free from any engraved initials.
A wonderful and impressive set as a gift for a Christening or new baby. The silver is in lovely condition as is the original case.
