Superb English Solid Sterling Silver Fox Head Letter Opener 1967 Boxed Hunting

Description

A super quality boxed English solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1967 with the maker’s marks being that of J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd. It has been superbly designed with the terminal being cast in the form of a foxes head. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The box is not the original but it fits perfectly. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18.2cms) long by 1 inch (2.6cms) wide and weighs 46 grams excluding the box. A very high quality example.
