Georgian Mahogany Inlaid Bookcase

18th century
Description

Good sized george the 3rd bookcase circa 1800-1810 with full height doors that have the appearance of being 4 doors. Astragal glazed to the top with burr walnut roundals inlaid into the bottom part of the door. These open to reveal mostly adjustable shelves with one shelf fixed. The bookcase has a projecting cornice to the top and stands on shaped bracket feet. The right hand door has a slight bend in it as shown in the last 2 pictures, this is perfectly acceptable for a 200 year old bookcase
