Description

George 111 Mahogany Secretaire Chest Base Bookcase. The stepped cavetto cornice over a pair of 13 pane astragal glazed doors. Three adjustable shelves with mahogany line carved fronts to the interior. The chest base with thumb moulded edge over the secretaire drawer with moulded decorated front. The interior having 4 central pigeon holes with shaped tops flanked by 4 mahogany lined drawers with the original 'Bell' shaped brass drop handles and the bottom right drawer having fitted ink wells with two long drawers above with dummy double fronts. Leather lined writing area. Three long oak lined drawers below all having cast brass swanneck handles. All on shaped bracket feet.
